Hello, I'm Jarad Reed, better known as J Touch, a seasoned Hair Stylist with a passion for transforming the world through the art of hairstyling.
Originally from Houston, TX, I embarked on my hairstyling journey in 2015 when I made the bold move to Los Angeles to pursue a career in television and film as a union artist. In October 2022, I proudly became a member of Local 706, marking a significant milestone in my dedication to the craft.
I earned my license from Texas Barber College in 2009, and my inaugural professional experience unfolded at New York Fashion Week in 2010. Since then, my career has been a tapestry of diverse experiences, ranging from collaborating with renowned fashion designers like Marc Jacobs and Vivienne Westwood to working with an array of celebrities, including
Kanye West, Danny Trejo, Jessica Frances Dukes, Kyla Pratt, KeKe Palmer, Kahlid, Lil Mo, and Christian Keyes.
As a current freelance artist affiliated with Local 706, I bring 13 years of comprehensive expertise to various realms of the beauty industry. My portfolio spans fashion shows, photoshoots, live events, and television and film projects, including a notable contribution to the Super Bowl Halftime Show LVI with artists such as Mary J. Blige, Snoop Dogg, Kendrick Lamar, 50 Cent, and Eminem. Beyond the world of hairstyling, I find joy in the arts, fashion, and exploring the world through travel. I am a firm believer in the power of continuous learning and personal growth.
My philosophy revolves around the belief in achieving all goals and giving back to the community. I am committed to contributing in every way possible, both professionally and philanthropically.
Looking ahead, I am excited about the prospect of becoming a multifaceted Master Artist, not confined to a single category. I am always open to building, creating, and bringing visions to life, as I strive to be the best artist I can possibly be.
