I fell in love with mens fashion growing up in Chicago I was engrossed with the construction of garments and always had the ability to put great combinations together. I was scouted by; Suitsupply where I received a formal educations in all things men fashion!
After working there for severely years I was approached by; Saks Fifth Ave to work with there mens style department for brands like : Brunello Cucinelli, Dolce & Gabbana, Tom Ford and everything in between.
I now hold a decade of experience under my belt and have worked with every level of mens fashion. Working with TV productions, well know on camera talent, high-powder attorneys, doctors, law-enforcement officers to young men looking for that first suit for their new profession to teens looking to dress to impress for prom.
It is my passion for men to learn their style and understand the importance in the construction of the government. I’m grateful for Brian Kreps who was my manager at Suitsupply at the beginning of my career and Rene Ramos a renowned Master Tailor who has been tailoring since the age of 12.
It is because of their generosity of knowledge that I love to take my time with each person and inform them about the garment and process.
I am proud to be back in Houston where I was born, I am proud of my Mexican heritage and I am proud to call you a client.

Alexio
My journey into fashion started in the primary years of my life, shopping on weekends with my mother. From grade school, she would always dress me in the finest of clothes. I became attracted to the industry because she would make me participate in creating my own wardrobe. I recall getting on the bus with her on Saturday mornings, traveling to downtown Houston where we would shop and eat. We fancied stores such as Lerners, Walter Pyers, Foleys and Casual Corner. I not only went to mens stores but she would force me to accompany her to women’s stores as well. I recall getting my feet measured for shoes, and having the retailers measure me for clothing as well. I grew up with a healthy knowledge of fashion and textiles.
As a teenager I sold women’s shoes at Foleys, and also worked at a local retail clothing store called Wieners. Alexio Clothiers was established in November of 2004. Like most businesses it started as a side job and later became the business it is today. In December of 2016, I began to work for Alexio Clothiers exclusively.
My primary clients are business men and women. My products include but aren’t exclusive to suits, tuxedos, shirts, blouses, waistcoats, top coats, pant suits, skirt suits, etc. I have fitted and worked with several business persons, pastors, bankers, realtors, professors, athletes, and a few entertainers. I currently have textile contracts with the City of Houston, and I work closely with the clergy here in Houston as well.
